So Very Close
Alright folks, the total is in. All contributions counted, I have $1897.57 collected. I am getting so excited to finally make this appointment. I am only $302.43 (that's less then $1 for every friend on my friend list) away from being able to completely forget about the potential of potassium overdose again. To all those who have already helped. I love you, and am grateful beyond tears or words.

The 411
Orchiectomy: A procedure that I can undergo to have the parts of my body that produce testosterone removed.(this is not a cosmetic procedure. I have health risks I would like to avoid.)
Medical history: as a result of my biological history my body is still producing testosterone. Every day for the last 2 nearly 3 years I have taken an anti-androgen called (spiro)nolactone to inhibit the of testosterone in my system. the effects this has had on me are numerous: I become easily dehydrated, despite the 10-12 glasses of water I drink daily. I am at higher risk for cancer. My stomach and kidneys are being slowly damaged. I retain potassium in my system, making it possible for me to OD on potassium, and go into cardiac arrest.
Despite my efforts to maintain a low level of potassium in my diet, (everything has potassium in it, most especially if it is healthy), I have continued to receive test results that are dangerously high.
THE SCARY PART:
I was having heart palpitations, these were electronic misfires of my heart...I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK. There is no easy way to check my levels, so I never really know day to day if I am at high risk.
My Financial Situation: I am a waitress at Pix Pattiserie, I make minimum and tips. I live from pay check to pay check. I unfortunately have no medical insurance (who does?) and even if I did, this is not a procedure that is covered in many plans. The procedure is $2,200 that I do not have, though a small enough sum to raise. Your donations will help me continue to thrive.
Love and trust,
Raijah Antoinette Sparkles
